MIAMI (Legal Newsline) — A Florida passenger has filed a class action lawsuit against an airline company, alleging breach of contract.

Hector G. Saade of Miami-Dade County filed a complaint, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, May 30 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Miami Division against Insel Air and Insel Air Aruba NC, alleging failure to inform the plaintiff of an exit tax.

According to the complaint, Saade was damaged monetarily from being charged an exit fee when traveling from Miami International Airport to Venezuela. The plaintiff alleges the defendants charged the plaintiff an $80 exit fee in Miami without informing him.

Saade seeks trial by jury, $80 in damages, court costs and all further relief the court grants. His legal team includes attorneys John G. Crabtree, Charles M. Auslander and Brian C. Tackenberg of Crabtree & Auslander in Key Biscayne, Florida.
