LOS ANGELES (Legal Newsline) — A California man filed a class action lawsuit against a tax business, alleging violation of telephone harassment statutes.

Jonathan Payton filed a complaint, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, Jan. 27 in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Tax Help Group LLC, alleging the defendant sent several unwanted advertising text messages to the plaintiff's cellular telephone.
