SAN FRANCISCO (Legal Newsline) – A California resident is suing a pet food company over claims it mislabeled certain products as being made in the U.S.

Adrienne Fraser, individually and for all others similarly situated, filed a class-action lawsuit Jan. 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Fromm Family Foods and Does 1-25, alleging violations of California's Unfair Competition Law and California's Consumer Legal Remedies Act.

The suit states Fromm Family Foods mislabeled certain pet food and pet treats as made in the USA, when allegedly certain ingredients are sourced outside the U.S.

They are represented by attorneys Eustace de Saint Phalle and Joseph R. Lucia of Rains Lucia Stern in San Francisco, and by attorney John E. Norris of Davis & Norris in Birmingham, Alabama.
