The American Assocation of Justice is holding its summer conference in New York City this year from July 9 to 13 at Hilton New York and Sheraton New York.
Highlights include numerous litigation topics such as:
Guest speakers include U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, a Democrat and a former trial lawyer. Another is CNN commentator, and former Clinton advisor, Paul Begala. He is the guest speaker and the main attraction at the AAJ PAC luncheon.
Most of the exhibitors are industry related; those which operate or contribute in some way to the tort industry. For example, LexisNexis will be there to display their wares.
Other exhibitors include two large financial institutions, Metlife and Wells Fargo Special Needs Trust Group.
