(Legal Newsline) – The office of Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi announced a multimillion dollar settlement with homebuilder KB HOME and its Florida subsidiaries over allegations the company failed to make certain disclosures to homebuyers about construction issues and denied warranty coverage to some buyers improperly.

The State of Florida filed a lawsuit last week against a South Carolina dating service, alleging it made several false claims, the Florida Office of the Attorney General said. Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi's Division of Consumer Protection filed the suit against Singles Plus, which has offices in Florida, alleging the business conducted deceptive and unfair trade practices.

A Florida court granted an asset freeze and temporary injunction against a timeshare company for alleged deceptive business practices, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi said on Friday. Bondi made the allegations against World Mark Wholesale and Trade, LLC, accusing owners Berthony Vernet and Joseph A. Taylor of being involved in a scheme to defraud timeshare owners in Florida and throughout the country.
